Perry Whaley
Vitiligo Man of Action
Born in Brooklyn, New York, Perry Whaley is a proud father of two loving children. He completed his education at Virginia State University. He takes great pride in having more than 30 years of experience in the auto industry, where he has received numerous salesperson of the month and year awards.
At the age of 25, Perry developed vitiligo, which caught the attention of the media. He made guest appearances on different television and radio programs such as Atlanta Live, Fox News, WCLK 91.9, and KISS 104.1 for interviews about his skin disorder. Perry is extremely passionate about giving awareness to this skin condition.
Many people are not familiar with it like going simply or just not knowledgeable the effects that it has on so many others. In living with the skin disorder for over 25 years now, he knew that God chose him. He believes he was chosen to be a voice for those affected. In his own witness, he can heartily attest that he’s more than just a voice. In 2007 Mr. Whaley launched his own organization Vitiligo Man of Action LLC (VMOA) in Stonecrest, Georgia. Though there are several other organizations whose goals are to reach the masses, VMOA is committed to helping people to better understand vitiligo, a disease in which areas of the skin lose their normal pigmentation, resulting in white patches. One’s hair, as well as other parts of the body, may also be affected by the lack of melanin.

Justin T. Hall
Author and Entrepreneur
Justin T Hall, “The Grindpreneur,” is a successful entrepreneur, author, speaker, and coach. He is passionate about helping others not only succeed in business but truly succeed in life. He has had the opportunity to talk to students of all ages nationwide as an assembly speaker on bullying prevention and peer acceptance. During that time, Justin had many personal questions about his Vitiligo from students and faculty alike. Thankfully, he is well versed on this autoimmune disorder and could offer informative answers to help others better understand what Vitiligo is and is not. From that experience, Justin and his wife, Tierza, coauthored Aiden’s Spots, a book that raises awareness about Vitilgo using language that even a young child can understand. Additionally, this book focuses on inclusion and self-confidence, serving as a much-needed reminder we are all facing struggles in life and all need love and acceptance. In June 2022 Justin was asked to co-host the 2023 World Vitiligo Day Conference in Atlanta, GA.
